Hello and let me welcome you with open arms (if you're a hugger) to The Doula Refuge!

I completed my doula training with The Doula Training Foundation in April 2024, adding this to my already vast experience from having four children of my own, all with varying types of births and feeding journeys!

I have always been fascinated by birth, babies and parenthood since my childhood; if anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I was older, the one consistent answer that I could give them was 'a mum'!

Four children and many different experiences later, I am more passionate than ever to come alongside women, first-time mums and more experienced mums alike, and encourage and support them and their families so that the journey into parenthood feels a little less daunting.

It is often said that it takes a village to raise a family, but more and more, that village is disappearing now that families are becoming more spread out and communities are becoming more unconnected. This is where I come in! Let me come alongside you and your family and give you the love, care and support that you deserve to get you all off to the best start.
